My name is Neil Dowden and I started Summit Guide UK to share my passion for climbing and the great outdoors.
Based in Somerset, the South West of England we have some of the finest rock climbing and open moorland and coastline to explore, and not too far from the mountains of the Brecon Beacons, North Wales and the Lake District.
Whilst working as a freelance climbing instructor for local schools and climbing gyms I decided I wanted to take the next step and offer more. As a qualified climbing instructor and summer mountain leader I can offer a range of climbing courses, navigation courses and guided walks to suit your ability and needs.
